Adult education is a very subtle matter, weighing heavily on individuals with a well-defined background which cannot be ignored.
The PEAPEDA (Learning Personalization in Adult Education) project intends to identify those elements necessary to define "personalization" as the key element in creating a way to pinpoint the complexity of each individual and to move it to the centre of the learning system. In fact, in our opinion, each person is unique, therefore the owner of equal rights to know and stand for oneself, within the learning contest as well as in one's related universe.
As a starting point we think "personalization" means enhancing everyone's potential and making the most out of the learning process as a sharing experience, setting oneself to a collaborative position, never competitive, but actively involved in the development process each individual can convey .
It is therefore fundamental to develop the strategy for an active participation as a citizen in our complex society and the acquisition of self-awareness skills.
In fact the PEAPEDA project intends to recognize the meaning and the role of "personalization" in adult education as a deeply significant innovation for future spaces, times and learning approaches which will be dedicated to adult people.
